CASTING CALL - WISDOM OF THE CROWD hosted by JOHN BISHOP

Would you like to be a contestant on a quiz show like no other? Are you a competitive person and think you can take on a crowd of 200 people as an individual contestant, or do you think life is better when you work as part of a team and think being part of the crowd is a better role for you?

In the Wisdom of the Crowd, an individual takes on a large crowd of people in questions such as “How many toilet rolls does the average UK adult use in a year? The aim is for the individual to get closer to the correct answer than the Crowd. It’s a David versus Goliath clash in which the science says the individual will lose almost every time – but will any of our individual contestants be able to outsmart the Wisdom of the Crowd and win up to £10,000 or will the money go to the Crowd?

You can apply as either an INDIVIDUAL contestant or be part of the CROWD. You can’t apply for both so have a think about what role you would like to play.

Both INDIVIDUAL contestants and CROWD contestants will be required to attend up to 4 studio record days at our studio in Manchester BETWEEN 5th March AND 9th March 2026. Accommodation will be paid for by production if needed.

We are looking for people of any age (18+), gender and background to be part of our show.
